Three Altcoins Stand Strong Amid Market Turmoil
Despite recent market declines, JUST, Monero, and LEO Token showcase remarkable resilience.
The crypto market is currently grappling with significant downturns, influenced by political midterm results and stock market fluctuations. Bitcoin's value has settled around $76,000, leaving many investors concerned. However, three altcoins—JUST (JST), Monero (XMR), and LEO Token (LEO)—are exhibiting impressive strength in the face of this turbulence.
JUST (JST): Will the Rally Continue?
Currently priced at approximately $0.1427, JUST is just shy of the $0.144 resistance level that has consistently paused its upward momentum since October. Notably, JST has surged around 265% since February.
The technical chart displays a bullish trend, with JST consistently forming higher lows, indicating an increasing number of buyers entering the market. The daily Relative Strength Index (RSI) stands around 58, demonstrating positive market momentum without being overly extended.
What’s next for JST?
- Bullish Scenario: If JST manages a daily close above $0.144, it might trigger a further upward movement, especially with rising trading volumes.
- Bearish Scenario: A dip below $0.135 could signal weakening momentum, with more substantial support levels lying at $0.114 and $0.104.
Monero (XMR): Testing the $600 Barrier
Monero has recently adjusted to around $612 after peaking at $623. Despite this fluctuation, the privacy-focused cryptocurrency remains up over 120% from its February low of approximately $276.
The critical point to watch is the $600 mark, a key Fibonacci level that has transitioned from resistance to support. Although XMR has held this level, waning trading volume and a cooling RSI suggest that buyers may be losing steam.
Potential future movements for XMR:
- Bearish Scenario: A close beneath $600 could jeopardize its recovery efforts, potentially leading down to a major support level at $538.
- Bullish Scenario: Successfully holding above $600 and breaking through the $650-$660 range could open the door for a rise toward $688.
LEO Token (LEO): Nearing Record Highs
LEO is trading at around $9.34, representing about a 12% decline from its all-time high of $10.61 in May. Unlike many other cryptocurrencies, it has remained relatively stable despite Bitcoin's recent drop.
Since August, LEO has remained within a range of $8.91 to $9.49. Buyers seem to be bolstering the lower boundary of this range, while sellers are consistently pressing down on upward attempts. However, the low trading volume makes its apparent strength somewhat less reliable.
What’s in store for LEO?
- Bearish Scenario: A break below $8.91 could lead to further declines to $8.44, with the next support level at $7.97.
- Bullish Scenario: A breakthrough past the $9.49-$9.60 range could propel LEO towards $9.90, nearing its all-time high.
At present, these three altcoins demonstrate significant technical resilience in a challenging market. Their next moves will heavily depend on buyer support, particularly if Bitcoin decisively drops below the $75,000 mark again.
