DFA Design for Asia Awards 2026 Winners Celebrated

On October 16, 2026, Hong Kong Design Centre proudly announced the winners of this year’s DFA Design for Asia Awards. After careful evaluation by a panel of 26 design experts from around the globe, 209 outstanding projects were recognized for their creativity and social significance across 15 economies.

For the first time since 2020, winning projects from Thailand and India have reemerged on the Grand Award listings, showcasing the growing influence of Southeast Asian designers.

About the DFA Design for Asia Awards

Since its inception in 2003, the DFA Design for Asia Awards has celebrated design excellence by awarding approximately 3,300 accolades across more than 40 countries. This esteemed program emphasizes user-centered design practices aimed at enhancing quality of life and addressing current societal challenges.

Ms. Rainy Chan, the Executive Director of the Hong Kong Design Centre, highlighted the innovative spirit of this year's submissions: “The winners reflect exceptional creativity and the integration of cutting-edge technologies, showcasing immersive experiences that speak to both local needs and global standards.” Ms. Chan expressed hope that these achievements would inspire further advancements within the design community.
