At Consensus Miami 2026, Mason Lynaugh, executive director of Stand With Crypto, outlined how the group’s 2.7 million advocates will engage in the November midterm elections. Speaking on a Day 3 panel with Fellowship PAC’s Jesse Spiro and Sternhell Group’s Alex Sternhell, Lynaugh presented the group’s electoral strategy and showcased crypto’s political infrastructure.
Stand With Crypto has released its first round of 2026 endorsements, backing six incumbent members of Congress: Representatives Zach Nunn, Susie Lee, Mike Lawler, Don Davis, Greg Landsman, and Rob Bresnahan. The PAC is opposing Representatives Scott Perry and Marcy Kaptur. Lynaugh said crypto-aligned voters are positioned to play a “powerful and decisive” role at the ballot box, with the organization aiming to help make the 120th Congress the most pro-crypto session in U.S. history. The PAC says it will focus resources on contests where its supporters can materially affect outcomes.
The stakes include the fate of the CLARITY Act. Senator Bernie Moreno warned that failing to advance legislation by a May Senate window could delay comprehensive crypto rules until after the midterms or further, making the next Congress’s makeup pivotal for any future regulatory progress.
Stand With Crypto’s Impact Research polling found that nearly six in 10 crypto owners do not consistently vote for a single party, and roughly half would back a candidate who aligns with them on crypto even if they disagree on other issues — framing crypto owners as a potential swing voting bloc. At the same time, the broader crypto PAC ecosystem, led by Fairshake, reportedly has more than $221 million in unspent funds that could be deployed across House and Senate races through November.
