WASHINGTON, May 13, 2026 — RCB Fund Services LLC, acting as Claims Administrator for the AirBit Victim Fund (AVF) on behalf of the U.S. Department of Justice, has opened the petition submission process for individuals harmed by the AirBit Club fraud.
The AVF was established to compensate people who suffered financial losses after purchasing AirBit Club memberships based on false representations, including promises of guaranteed daily returns purportedly generated by cryptocurrency mining and trading. The DOJ has published additional details about the compensation process.
Who is eligible: To receive compensation, an individual must be a victim who suffered a direct pecuniary loss as a result of the scheme. Persons who did not suffer an actual financial loss—such as those who merely transferred funds on behalf of others—are not eligible.
How losses are calculated: Eligible losses will be determined using a cash-in, cash-out methodology. Petitioners must document the total funds and/or virtual currency used to purchase AirBit Club memberships (cash-in), reduced by any funds or virtual currency withdrawn from AirBit Club (cash-out). Fictitious or paper profits reported to participants will not be counted.
How to apply: Submit a completed petition form with supporting documentation by the filing deadline. The easiest way to file is online at www.airbitvictimfund.com. Alternatively, you may download and print a petition form from the website and mail it, request a form by calling toll-free 800-765-7251, or request a form by email at [email protected].
