Bybit, the world’s second-largest crypto exchange by trading volume, today launched AI Trading Skill, a natural-language interface that lets users trade, query markets, and manage assets through major AI assistants. The Skill integrates with platforms including ChatGPT, OpenClaw, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, and Windsurf, requires no installation, and exposes 253 API endpoints to enable agentic trading—where an AI interprets intent and performs actions on the user’s behalf.

Comprehensive market access
Bybit AI Trading Skill maps plain-language instructions to the exchange’s trading and asset-management capabilities across six functional modules and 253 API endpoints. The design supports chained commands and conversational follow-ups, so users can manage positions and portfolios without a conventional UI.
Modules included
1. Market Intelligence: Real-time prices, candlesticks, order book depth, funding rates, and other live market signals.
2. Spot Trading: Market and limit orders, batch operations, and common spot workflows.
3. Derivatives Trading: Leverage controls, take-profit/stop-loss, and conditional orders for derivatives exposure.
4. Earn: Access to Flexible Savings, On-Chain Earn products, and yield-management actions.
5. Account & Assets: Account details, deposits and withdrawals, currency conversions, and balance management.
6. Advanced Features: WebSocket streams for real-time data and execution, margin lending (e.g., “Borrow 10,000 USDT”), price-differential orders, and RFQ-style bulk pricing for options and other instruments.
Background and intent
Bybit has previously released AI assistance tools such as TradeGPT to help with market analysis and strategy. AI Trading Skill is presented as the exchange’s most extensive AI integration to date, aimed at simplifying trading and digital-asset wealth management by turning complex operations into conversational interactions.
Security and risk controls
Bybit built layered safeguards into the Skill. New users are routed to testnet environments to safely experiment with commands. For live trading, explicit user confirmation is required for every transaction. Connections are managed via secure API authentication to avoid manual credential handling and limit exposure of sensitive data. Natural-language instructions are translated into precise API calls and are executed only after passing platform security checks.
