Key Takeaways
– BitMine reportedly acquired an additional 41,946 ETH, bringing its holdings above 3.7 million ETH.
– The firm plans to launch the MAVAN staking solution in early 2026.
BitMine Immersion — the Ethereum-focused treasury led by Fundstrat’s Tom Lee — may have added another large ETH position. On Thursday, on-chain trackers cited by Lookonchain flagged wallets linked to BitMine acquiring 41,946 ETH, roughly $131 million at the time.
The move follows recent on-chain activity and reporting: earlier in the week BitMine was linked to a roughly $55 million ETH purchase, and a wallet associated with the firm reportedly withdrew about $91 million in ETH from Kraken ahead of Ethereum’s Fusaka upgrade.
In its most recent disclosure, BitMine said it holds over 3.7 million ETH. If accumulation continues, the company appears to be advancing toward its stated goal of amassing roughly 5% of the total ETH supply. Lee has repeatedly emphasized Ether’s role in future financial infrastructure because of its smart-contract capabilities and the ecosystem of financial products built on it.
BitMine also plans to roll out MAVAN, a staking solution, in early 2026, which the firm says will support its position as a leading crypto treasury.
