Leadership comments
Thomas “Tom” Lee, Chairman of Bitmine, commented on geopolitical market drivers and ETH performance: he noted ETH’s gains since the start of the Iran war and argued ETH is acting as a wartime store of value, outperforming gold and the S&P 500 in the period referenced. Lee said Bitmine has increased the pace of ETH purchases over the past four weeks and acquired 71,252 ETH in the most recent week—the highest weekly pace since the week of December 22, 2025. He also emphasized Ethereum’s dual tailwinds from Wall Street tokenization and increasing AI demand for public, neutral blockchains.
Institutional support
Bitmine is backed by institutional investors including ARK Invest’s Cathie Wood, MOZAYYX, Founders Fund, Bill Miller III, Pantera, Kraken, Digital Currency Group, Galaxy Digital, and personal investor Thomas “Tom” Lee, supporting Bitmine’s goal to acquire 5% of ETH.
