NEW YORK, Nov. 13, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Invictus Pharmacy, a pharmacist‑founded, nationally licensed pharmacy network, announced it will begin accepting cryptocurrency payments from patients, becoming the first nationwide licensed pharmacy to integrate digital assets into its patient payment options.
Effective immediately, Invictus Pharmacy retail locations will accept Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and XRP (Ripple). Online payments using these cryptocurrencies will be available at InvictusPharmacy.com starting Jan. 1, 2026.
Key benefits Invictus cites:
– Enhanced security: blockchain offers a secure, transparent transaction record that can reduce fraud.
– Faster transactions: crypto payments can speed prescription processing compared with some traditional methods.
– Increased accessibility: digital payments appeal to younger and tech‑savvy patients.
– Transparency: blockchain creates an auditable trail for payments.
This rollout is the first phase of a broader initiative by Invictus Ventures Inc., the management company behind Invictus Pharmacy, to build a blockchain‑based payment infrastructure tailored to the U.S. prescription drug market. The platform aims to enable instant, transparent, auditable settlement among payers, manufacturers, pharmacies, and patients.
“Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) were invented before the internet to combat rising drug prices,” said Meyer Davidoff, Founder and CEO of Invictus Pharmacy. “Today, PBMs often obscure true drug costs, delay pharmacy payments, and inflate prices for patients through rebates, clawbacks, and opaque contracts. Accepting cryptocurrency is more than another payment option — it’s the first step toward a faster, more transparent payment network linking patients, pharmacies, and manufacturers with far fewer barriers.”
“For our patients, using cryptocurrency will feel just as simple as paying with a smartphone or credit card,” said Alan Oustaev, Chief Operating Officer. “Our goal is a seamless in‑store and online experience that gives patients more choice and convenience while modernizing prescription payments.”
Invictus is also calling on industry partners — manufacturers, wholesalers, and payers — to consider adding cryptocurrency to their balance sheets and to explore digital asset integration. The company is developing an additional blockchain payment rail under Invictus Ventures intended to serve as a digital settlement layer for prescription transactions, enabling instant fund transfers, automated rebate validation, and streamlined reimbursements. Invictus projects the system could reduce claim processing times from weeks to seconds once fully deployed.
