New York, Nov. 13, 2025 — Invictus Pharmacy, a pharmacist-founded, nationally licensed pharmacy network, announced it will begin accepting cryptocurrency payments from patients, making it the first nationwide licensed pharmacy to add digital assets to its payment options.
Effective immediately, Invictus retail locations will accept Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL) and XRP (Ripple). Online payments using these cryptocurrencies will be available at InvictusPharmacy.com beginning Jan. 1, 2026.
Invictus highlights several expected benefits of the rollout:
– Enhanced security: blockchain-based transactions provide transparent, tamper-evident records that can help reduce fraud.
– Faster processing: crypto settlements can accelerate prescription payments compared with some traditional rails.
– Greater accessibility: digital-asset payments appeal to patients who prefer modern, mobile-first payment methods.
– Payment transparency: distributed ledgers create an auditable trail for payments.
This launch is the first phase of a broader initiative led by Invictus Ventures Inc., the company that manages Invictus Pharmacy. The team is building a blockchain-based payment infrastructure aimed specifically at the U.S. prescription drug market. The planned platform is intended to serve as a digital settlement layer connecting payers, manufacturers, pharmacies and patients, enabling near-instant transfers, automated rebate validation and more streamlined reimbursements. Invictus projects the system could shorten claim processing from weeks to seconds once fully deployed.
Meyer Davidoff, Founder and CEO of Invictus Pharmacy, said accepting cryptocurrency is more than an added payment option — it’s a step toward a faster, more transparent network that reduces barriers between patients, pharmacies and manufacturers. He criticized legacy Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) practices for obscuring drug costs and delaying payments, and framed the new payment approach as part of a larger effort to improve pricing visibility and settlement speed.
Alan Oustaev, Chief Operating Officer, said the company’s aim is a seamless in-store and online experience: patients will be able to use crypto as easily as they use a smartphone wallet or a credit card.
Invictus is also inviting manufacturers, wholesalers and payers to explore holding and transacting in digital assets and to participate in the development of the blockchain payment rail under Invictus Ventures.
