About[edit]

AgroTechFarm is the revolutionary fully automated intelligent appliance powered by blockchain and patented technology for the industrial cultivation of popular and unique species of various types of greens, vegetables and fruit all year round and regardless of climate conditions.

ATF's mission is to supply the world with 100% healthy food through the use of the latest technology and blockchain.

Main Benefits:

  • 100% Natural food
  • No chemicals and other impurities
  • Patented technology & blockchain
  • Revolutionary technology in industrial cultivation
  • 99% predictable harvest volume
  • Stable plan for your business
  • Availability of your favorite food anywhere and at anytime
  • Easy accessible i-App
  • Ready-to-use analysis and digitization of the growth conditions of any species from the list of cultivated
  • Reduction of the environmental harm

Our technology

The ATF technology combines hydroponics (water), aeroponics (wind), heating and controlled light (sun) to imitate the perfect climatic conditions for the growth of a certain plant variety, such as tomatoes, cucumbers, rucola, strawberries, cannabis, and more. There are only two resources required to have fresh, organic food all year round with ATF: water and electricity. By leveraging the combination of technologies, ATF achieves a 30% quicker growth without the use of chemicals or other unhealthy practices. The process is fully automated: you simply add seeds (like you fill coffee beans in a coffee machine), nutrient solutions (similarly to adding laundry liquid in a washing machine), and get the crops in when the time comes. The technology is designed for private, commercial, and industrial use.

Multifaceted solution

ATF will be available in two editions: Enterprise and Basic.

ATF Enterprise

ATF Enterprise enables industrial-scale growth with food retail supply chains and agricultural companies;
Property development companies can achieve a great competitive advantage by introducing ATF Enterprise into the infrastructure of their office buildings and residential compounds;
ATF Enterprise is a solution for global humanitarian organizations, governments, and programs that now struggle to provide fresh, organic food to people living in extreme climate conditions.

ATF Basic

Small and midsize businesses such as hotels, restaurants, and groceries can provide their customers with fresh organic vegetables, berries, and greens with ATF Basic;
The PRO mode of ATF Basic empowers educational and scientific institutions with conducting various experiments and trials, which is a great way to learn, teach, and research agriculture;
Private households can always be provided with fresh organic food without any specific knowledges or skills because ATF Basic is as easy-to-use as a coffee machine.
Token value

As of today, we have received requests for ATF Enterprise from all around the world. The price of one such unit ranges from $100,000 to $3,000,000. We offer sizeable discounts for those who pay a part of the price with ATF tokens, which is certain to boost and support their value. In 2020, we plan to gently introduce new utility tokens based on a private blockchain with a higher transaction throughput to further stimulate the circulation of tokens through the equipment purchases, in-app marketplace and more. As a result, ATF tokens are projected to become a new strong cryptocurrency backed by a product with an ever-growing value: natural food.

Background

AgroTechFarm is a project of a well-established company. It was founded in 2012 by a team of crop research, agronomics, agrochemistry, software development, engineering, management, marketing, business management, and finance specialists. From the beginning, the company has focused on the development of cutting-edge agricultural technologies. In 2014, AgroTechFarm patented a hydroponics device and presented its prototype. 2017 saw the market launch of microgreens, produced using their own unique technology. This was followed by the preliminary approval of three further patents.

The AgroTechFarm production launch is scheduled for August 2018.  Token Sale was chosen as a funding model that will allow for a quick scaling of the product, ensuring high speed to global market, and, finally, feeding the world with fresh, organic vegetables, berries, and greens.

Team 5:
Most ICOs I have seen here seem to have mostly business savvy people on the team. Which is definitely important, however I like the fact that AgroTechFarm has a
team packed with many different technical and scientific backgrounds. Also, the advisory board consists of people that are not only "useless" ico advisors!

Vision 5:
AgroTechFarm wants to conquer the North American organic food and cannabis market. I see they have more focus on cannabis, which makes sense since it is one of the booming industries growing way quicker than the GDP of USA or Canada.

Product 5-:
They have a solid working product and are ready to go to market and scale their operations.
Five minus, because they don't have any blockchain in their product. I think that using the blockchain as a vehicle to fund-raise is something we should start to embrace as the next step of ICO evolution!

This is not an investment advice, please make your own research

Their appliance is more advanced than the other available growers like Seedo and Leafy.

The team's choice to use an ICO to gather funds faster than their competitors who are using deposits, will allow them to penetrate the market quicker and meet demand.

Only remark is that the team could have provided more technical details about the product. Yet, it is also possible that it was done on purpose to prevent copying.

UPDATED: At first the presentation seemed heavily cannabis focused, but with automatic cultivation of organic produce, this project is capable of solving agricultural difficulties in many parts of the world.

Facts:

1) More than one advisor of the project have been claimed to be a scammer and have had expert status revoked which to me is a huge red flag by itself.

2) This is not a blockchain project. I fail to see a need for a technology here.

3) Crypto community have seen plenty of cannabis related projects already. We all know how they usually end up.

Team: They have a solid team, with some good advisors, but I think one "world class" team member would make things even better.

Vision: Indoor ATF homes and farms are definitely something to look at in the future.

Product: They have already 2 patents, so that's definitely a plus.

I don't see why people need blockchain technology to grow food and cannabis?

But at least they are honest and accept it that they are doing an ICO as a means to just raise money. I wish them luck.

Definitely, this is what the world needs - provision of organic farmed produce in places where they cannot be grown.

BUT we have seen so many cannabis projects ending in nothing.

I find questionable advisors on board which makes the project a bit risky.

A commendable product which I think will find a lot of traction
Much depends on the team's ability to get a buy-in of their vision.

The tokenomics is decent and I believe will allow gradual appreciation of tokens over time when the product usage picks up.

The team is well balanced with right skills in the relevant areas.
Suggest direct selling to government or NGOs.

I think the team is good.
I think that the technology for fully automated agriculture is wonderful. I think the team, the white paper, and the vision are balanced.
While I pray for the success of this project, for example cannabis is illegal in Japan.
There may be countries that ban cannabis in other countries, but there is concern for medical cannabis at least in Japan.
For this project I think that Japan should be excluded from the target country.
I will improve the evaluation of products and vision once this change is made.

*I have improved the evaluation as the project has released a wonderful solution to cannabis regulation.

White Paper - The white paper is unique focussing on the product itself. It is a very honest and simple White Paper claiming that they are doing an ICO as a means to just raise money. The best part of this being the device would be launched regardless of the ICO results. I wish them luck. Now comes the difficult part. The ICO would be much more attractive for the investors if -
(A) The company could ensure all the machinery sold would be put on blockchain making it mandatory to use Tokens for payment or they could do the conversion to tokens themselves.
(B) If they agreed to list the % of profit that would be reinvested to buy back tokens or the amount of profit to be shared with investors.
(C) They could have mentioned to have a supply chain on blockchain for organic products to be included in their App.

The benefits that investors gain from investing in this token are clear but not quantified so difficult to calculate any ROI. Providing further informations on above points would be good.

Team - The team composition is filled with experienced personnel in their respective fields. But then again no member from the team is having anything to do with blockchain, so I wonder what kind of blockchain development could be undertaken in future including App. Having at least a few members from blockchain developers in the core-team could have been an improvement.

Tokenomics - The token distribution is clearly stated and also the utilization of proceeds seems reasonable. The soft cap and hard cap scenario is well represented and within reasonable limits. As an investor quite troublesome to believe on the valuation of Tokens as the tokens might or might not have any utility at all.

Business Model - Launching an ETO i.e equity token offering would have been better suited for this model of crypto-fund raising. The utility model makes the investors vulnerable if the ICO fails to deliver on its promise of buy-back or ensure payments in tokens. Any clarifications would help!

MVP/ DApp/ Working Product  - The unique ICO has working model of their prototype equipments along with patents but no blockchain based MVP.

NOTE - In light of the mentioned points, I am re-scoring this ICO based on specifics provided.

Their idea is noble.

Many companies are working for organic farming and they are doing pretty well without blockchain technology.

The market for this token is very limited.

The idea is noble but too ambitious to execute. Organic food has definitive market but being controlled by big industrial houses. Quite sceptical that how adoption at huge scale shall be achieved provided entry barriers. Also, I cannot see real utility of token in business model, inclined heavily towards discount. There can be different and more convincing tokenisation model that may add to real value of toke besides giving vanilla discounts just to accelerate adoption. The industry is quality specific and no mechanism has been chalked out to ensure same. Whitepaper is quite thorough and planned rightly. Tokenomics is clear but hard cap seems on higher side provided ether price w.r.t. time has been anticipated. Team looks good but surely lacks required skillset for blockchain development. Blockchain as a database surely has huge use case in supply chain management, execution is another part. Business model looks weak to me and definitely not very impressive to derive real ROI out of token for investors. ICO route may not be real need of project. There are numerous funds, VCs and industrial houses ready to invest into such projects. As business, it looks satisfying, surely not very much convincing with ICO, tokenisation and blockchain implementation. All the Best!
