Funtico has opened the token presale for Earth Version 2 (EV2), the studio’s upcoming multiplayer sci‑fi MMO. The sale offers early access to $EV2 — the in-game token that powers the economy — with 40% of the fixed 2.88 billion supply allocated to presale buyers.
$EV2 will serve as the game currency for upgrades, item crafting, and marketplace transactions. Presale purchases are accepted in ETH, USDT, USDC, BTC, BNB, SOL, SUPER, or by credit card to simplify participation for players unfamiliar with crypto. Purchases above $1,000 receive an additional 10% bonus in TICO tokens.
Earth Version 2 is set on a newly discovered planet where human explorers unearth remains of an advanced alien civilization. The game blends shooter mechanics and progression-based play with class roles and customizable gear. Funtico emphasizes high visual fidelity and intensive combat to align EV2 with mainstream titles rather than typical browser-based Web3 games.
The launch arrives amid growing interest in Web3 gaming from major publishers and investors, driven by the appeal of digital asset ownership and player-driven economies. EV2 aims to enable true player ownership while removing common onboarding friction. Streamlined logins, listings on conventional stores, and multi-currency checkout are intended to meet players where they already play instead of forcing crypto-native flows.
EV2 features five playable classes — Brute, Cloaker, Mag, Pathfinder, and Valkyrie — covering roles from tanking and stealth to support and tactical drone deployment. Game modes include Oblivion, a team-based fight in a shrinking map, and Fracture, a 25-player free-for-all where contestants hunt glowing cubes; collecting two of each color reveals a secret relic, but death resets progress.
The rollout begins with ongoing gameplay testing and presale onboarding. Partnership announcements and broader ecosystem development are planned for Q1 2026, with the full launch and token generation event slated for Q2 2026. Post-launch plans include tournaments, seasonal content, and limited-edition digital asset bundles for presale participants.
Following earlier titles on Avalanche, the $EV2 token will be issued on Ethereum to tap into a large trading ecosystem and maximize liquidity pre-launch. EV2 is scheduled for PC release via Funtico, Steam, and the Epic Games Store, with console support to follow.
