US-listed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds snapped a seven-session inflow streak on Thursday, recording $225.2 million in net outflows — their first daily net withdrawal since July 13.
The funds had attracted nearly $1 billion in net inflows across the prior seven trading sessions, but Thursday’s outflows halted that run. Despite the reversal, the ETFs still showed roughly $274 million in net inflows for the week as of Thursday.
The pullback in ETF flows coincided with a brief dip in Bitcoin’s price after U.S. equities moved lower amid renewed tensions between the U.S. and Iran. Bitcoin traded around $65,403 at the time of publication after sliding to about $64,600 earlier in the session.
Market sentiment softened alongside the price move. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index fell three points to 28, remaining in “fear” territory.
Meanwhile, U.S.-listed spot Ether ETFs extended their inflow streak to five trading sessions, bringing in a net $26.3 million on Thursday.
